Department Overview

This is an exciting opportunity with high visibility in the MSI Mobile Video Finance organization. At MSI finance, we deliver value by providing financial support through timely, data-driven analysis, effective resource planning and management of business performance to help our business partners execute on their strategic and operational imperatives contributing to strong financial performance.

Job Description:

This role will be based out of Chicago on a hybrid schedule

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted business partner to the Mobile Video leadership team.

• Drive revenue and gross margin through analytics, operating expense management, variance analysis and investigation.

• Ensure robust planning & analysis (budget, quarterly forecasts, long range plan) and execution against forecast.

• Evaluate business investment opportunities and track their performance against business case

• Partner with product finance to incorporate key business initiatives into budgets, forecasts, and long range plans

• Provide thought and executional leadership on process improvements, financial tools & structures.

• Support the design, testing, and implementation of Oracle ERP system for the Mobile Video business.

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

• 4+ years of finance or accounting experience

• Exercises good judgment, flexibility, and comfortable working under time constraints and with multiple operating constituents,

• Strong analytical skills, organization, and curiosity to develop new methods and processes.

• Quick learner and critical thinker, ability to manage and resolve problems

• Experience in Oracle, Smartview, Excel, Google Sheets ,Alteryx and Tableau preferred

Target Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 USD
