Department Overview
The NOLA Delivery Engineering Department is responsible for end-to-end project implementation, leveraging a wide range of technologies. This includes P25, Tetra, and DMR radio solutions, advanced video solutions, and Command Central software platforms.
Job Description:
- The Customer Support & Field Engineer role operates at various levels within the organization and across projects. The specific level assigned depends on the size and complexity of the project or activity, as well as the individual's experience and position within the organization. This role can be fulfilled at any stage within the TS career ladder. Typically, engineering at lower levels focus on smaller projects or specific elements of larger projects and work under closer supervision, while those at higher levels may take on more complex assignments with greater autonomy.
Basic Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the telecommunications field; IT experience is a plus.
- High or medium proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach and a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required (when business conditions allow).
- Demonstrated autonomy and empowerment, with readiness to take on increasing responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any networking certification. (CCNA. CCNP, COMP TIA,ETC)
- Solid knowledge of networking principles.
- Experience with server management (ESXI, v Sphere, KVM).
- Technical expertise in Motorola Solutions portfolio (DMR, ASTRO, DIMETRA Express).
- Experience working in cross-cultural and cross-language teams.
- Field engineering experience with Motorola Solutions products, including direct customer management.
- Eagerness to learn about new products and related services.
