Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect Kubernetes-based infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead the migration of legacy workloads to Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, Git Ops practices, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with application, platform, and security teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient deployments.
• Develop Helm charts, operators, and manifests for consistent application deployment.
• Establish and enforce governance, monitoring, and observability standards (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Open Telemetry).
• Optimize cluster performance and resource utilization across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Stay up to date with evolving CNCF ecosystem tools and recommend adoption strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, or Open Shift).
• Strong expertise in containerization technologies
• Proven experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.).
• Familiarity with service mesh and API gateway solutions.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts in Kubernetes.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Experience architecting multi-cluster or hybrid-cloud Kubernetes solutions.
• Exposure to serverless, event-driven architectures, or edge computing.
