Client Operations Associate:

Frankfurt

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

We’re seeking someone to join our Client Service team (CSG) as an Analyst or an Associate in Frankfurt. CSG is responsible for providing exceptional client service to German and Swiss clients across the cash equity and FID cash business lines. The team is a central point of contact for Morgan Stanley’s institutional clients on a range of topics. Internally, the team partners closely with the Business Unit, and global Operations teams to ensure that client issues are identified and resolved effectively. The CSG team is responsible for processes such as (but not limited to) exception management, trade allocation and report production.

This position is within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring risk items are addressed in a timely manner through effective prioritisation of tasks
  • Proactively managing the trade allocation process to ensure timely execution of trade confirmations
  • Effectively driving forward business processes and client initiatives
  • Fostering a robust stakeholder network to drive forward collaboration with the Cash Equity Sales Desk and Global Operations counterparts
  • Navigating the Morgan Stanley organization across divisions to deliver timely and accurate issue resolution to complex, business critical issues
  • Partnering with daily processing teams to identify key operational issues with a view to enhancing the operational infrastructure
  • Developing and enhancing client relationships by providing exceptional levels of client service
  • Providing backup coverage for team members during absence and busy periods

What you’ll bring in the role:

  • Operations experience within financial services desirable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Degree or equivalent academic level in relevant field
  • Fluent in written & spoken English is essential
