We’re seeking someone to join our team as a E-FX Sales Associate.

In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Play an active role in expanding Morgan Stanley’s electronic FX initiatives with the focus on Hong Kong & Greater China clients

  • Proactively identify client opportunities, works collaboratively with regional trading and sales team

  • Provide innovative insights that translates client, product and market gaps into scalable solutions and opportunities

  • Functional experience of the FX trade lifecycle from beginning to end and exercise good judgment in risk management and control.

  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.

  • Cross-sell Morgan Stanley’s proprietary FX analytic tool and be a strong liaison across business functions to drive the sustainable growth of the FX franchise

  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the Morgan Stanley’s electronic FX trading platform “Matrix” and other 3rd party multi-dealer platforms

  • Market Morgan Stanley’s algorithmic trading platform & monitor intraday activity

  • Manage FX vendor relationships, stay abreast of technology trends and market evolution.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Based in Hong Kong

  • Strong English and Mandarin/ Cantonese oral and written communication skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of FX products (spot, forward and swaps) and Greater China markets

  • Entrepreneurial, organized, driven, detail and data oriented.

  • Ability to work well under high level of autonomy and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

  • Advanced use of Excel, VBA, Bloomberg and data‑analysis tools in a professional setting
