Role Overview

Business Analytics Strategists have a deep understanding of the Fixed Income business and use their technology and data skills to deliver data insights and key business metrics. Working closely with Business Management, they help set and track strategy by collecting data from various parts of the organization and build attribution models and metrics. They also build tools to capture data and distribute metrics across the organization.

What you'll do in the role:

• Work with large and complex datasets to derive impactful and fresh insights and analyses for business decision-making.

• Communicate with Business Management, Traders, Strats and Technologists from all divisions of the Firm to find holistic solutions to deliver the best of Morgan Stanley to our clients.

• Assist in driving business planning, business strategy and executing on key priorities.

• Create meaningful analysis to aid strategic decisions.

• Assist in presentations for senior management on pipeline, performance metrics and key initiatives.

• Assist development of web-based management reporting tools.

• Review capital and returns for transactions.

• Have a keen interest in the strategy and operations of the Fixed Income business which encompasses a large range of responsibilities.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Degree in quantitative area or technology such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc.

• Solid problem solving & math foundations and an interest in the financial industry

• Good programming skills in Python or in some other programming language

• Interest in Data Analytics

• High resilience to work at the forefront of business decision-making

• Advanced communication skills in English
