We are seeking someone to join our team as a Lead Technical BA.
Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley's software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Work with business leads, various control teams, compliance and other partners to define scope, objectives, timeline and plan

  • Drive execution across multiple locations and consulting providers to deliver on the next phase of sensitive data cataloguing; extension of cataloging scope and leading on tooling build out Division's adopting functionality to enable their move to BAU

  • Work with Technology to draft and shape user stories to drive tooling required for sensitive data cataloguing to transition the Firm in BAU

  • Create and manage scope through metrics, driving execution through Business working groups

  • Have the ability to lead working group, stakeholder meetings driving execution

  • Create plans, risk and issue tracking, stakeholder management using an agile and flexible approach

  • Ensure successful execution of each project and request, including driving any required escalation, resolution of resource gaps/dependencies while meeting all required change management controls

  • Management reporting including creation, collation & publishing of regional & functional dashboards

  • Ensure ongoing alignment with other inter-dependent projects and initiatives across the group

  • Measure outcomes to evaluate post-implementation benefits realization and lessons learned

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Undergraduate degree

  • 5+ years of experience in related business analysis & project management and delivery experience

  • Experience of implementing within a PMO and Fleet (Agile) structure

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to act as a bridge between several business areas

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring un-focused issues to resolution

  • Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts, and coordinate with a large number of stakeholders across the business and technology

  • Strong understanding of Project Management concepts, SDLC methodologies and Operating models (Agile & Waterfall)

  • Experienced in JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment

  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Project with overall ability for presentation-building
