Java Developer - Director - Software Engineering

We’re seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Java developer, in Prime Brokerage Tech to , involved in Design & Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculations

This is Director position that manages and optimizes the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies for end-users, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.

What you’ll do in the role:

• We're seeking someone to join our team as (Director) Java Developer involved in Design & Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculations, efficient memory management and a highly scalable architecture.

• This role provides an exciting opportunity to motivated candidates to work in a fast-paced environment on varied projects from short term tactical enhancements to strategic initiatives that impact multiple firm systems and business groups.

• Candidates will design and develop using latest technology architectures & API model. Candidates will be involved in all phases of SDLC such as requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing and supporting the application in production.

• Candidates will also be involved with ongoing technology support for the business users and queries.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or related field of study.

• 5 - 7 Years of development in Java (Spring)

• Proficient in developing multi-threaded applications using Core Java, Spring

• Excellent problem solving skills & good communication skills

• Good knowledge of OO, data structures & algorithms

• Good understanding of RDBMS, Basic SQL, Data Analysis

• Working experience with Unix operating system

• Good to have, Scripting languages - Python

• Knowledge about Financial domain

• Prior knowledge of working in Agile model

• Aware of Cloud based technologies.
