About Us:
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Platform Capabilities Associate to join our Digital Marketing Operations team. This role involves working closely with Product Owners to enhance and support the platform capabilities that drive our digital marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with technology squads to ensure seamless integration and functionality of digital marketing tools and platforms.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Product team and the Wealth Management Marketing team to support the Alerts Platform, which enables timely, compliant client communications across multiple channels including. The role will assist the Product team with gathering requirements, maintaining documentation, coordinating testing, and preparing reports to ensure accurate and effective alert delivery. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, product operations, exposure to agile project delivery and cross-functional collaboration within a large financial institution.
Key Responsibilities/ What You’ll Do in The Role
- Support the Product Team in gathering and documenting business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining and updating alert workflows across multiple channels
- Help prepare and organize documentation, including business requirements, user stories, test cases, and training materials.
- Coordinate with technology, marketing, and business partners to track project progress and testing outcomes.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate alert functionality and accuracy prior to release.
- Assist in facilitating review and approval cycles with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations for client-facing communications.
- Update and maintain project dashboards, reports, and presentation materials for tracking progress and key metrics.
- Support “test-and-learn” initiatives such as A/B or multivariate testing to evaluate engagement performance.
- Contribute to system migration, cleanup, and decommissioning activities related to legacy alerting tools.
- Stay current on digital marketing technologies, communication best practices, and industry trends related to multi-channel notifications.
- Support requirement-gathering activities by documenting business needs from internal stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and maintaining alert workflows and communications across multiple channels including email, SMS, push, and in-app.
- Provide support for system cleanup, migration, and decommissioning of legacy alerting tools.
- Stay updated on best practices, tools, and trends in digital communications and marketing technology.
- Contribute to project planning, release readiness, and business sign-off processes
What You’ll Bring to the Role / Desired Skills
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, marketing operations, or product support.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Jira or Confluence is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn digital communication processes and tools within a large, regulated organization.
- Interest in developing a career in digital marketing, business analysis, or financial technology
- Willingness to learn and grow
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Good to have experience in financial industry
