We're seeking someone to join our Wealth Management Controllership team as a Director in Finance to support the WM Finance controller team. The candidate will assist in enhancing current processes and reporting along with supporting ongoing or new finance initiatives.
This role primarily supports client revenue reporting and analysis for the Equity Client Coverage (ECC), Middle Markets Group (MMG), and Fixed Income Middle Markets (FIMM). The clients sit on both the Institutional platform and the Wealth Management core retail platform. The scope includes all business lines for clients globally.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Director level position within the Product Controllers Job Family which specializes in ensuring adequacy of controls, profit and loss and balance sheet reporting and reconciliations for a segment / business / product area, as well as management reporting across business segments or cross-functional end-to-end product oversight.

What you'll do in the role:

• Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
• Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area, tools and/or products
• Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls
• Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
• Maintain client and revenue splits in support of IED/WM JV
• Perform sales revenue reporting & analysis
• Manage Hard Dollar payment reconciliation and collections
• Reconcile Books to Reported Revenues, including trading error reporting
• Participate in various month-end general ledger close processes including creating journal entries
• Support quarter-end, mid-year, and annual financial reporting deliverables
• Partner with the ICP business on any strategic changes to sales attribution, including adhoc projects and analysis
• Engage in cross-functional communication with ISG Controllers and Operations on wide array of reporting and accounting queries
• Support the overall execution and drive continued improvement of control frameworks
• Serve as a product owner for reporting enhancement initiatives and aid developing business requirements with Technology

What you'll bring to the role:

• Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment

• Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks
• You have a BS/BA degree with Finance and/or Accounting experience required
• You have 5+ years post-college experience in the financial services industry
• You have a demonstrated ability to support multiple projects, manage expectations and complete deliverables in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail
• You have strong interpersonal collaboration and team skills including working with cross-functional teams - proven flexibility, adaptability and reliability
• You are a self-starter with exposure to project management skills and sound business judgment
• You have a strong working knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• You have strong analytical and communication skills
• Having experience in Sales Reporting and General Accounting is a plus

Salary range for the position: $70,000 - $120,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
