Description:

The Training Instructional Designer role will focus primarily on leading the creation of custom training deliverables for the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management field audiences in support of new programs, system processes, technology releases, and firm initiatives. Our goal is to create an innovative personalized learning experience in everything we do.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into AEM deliverables
  • Develop AEM templates and documentation surrounding use
  • Design and develop graphics, infographics and iconography in Adobe Photoshop
  • Design and develop short videos in Adobe After Effects adding custom animations, titles and content
  • Partner with key subject matter experts to understand content need and design and develop effective training content
  • Participate in training design and development of key content for the Morgan Stanley field
  • Participate in Firm-wide project initiatives to improve training processes and system infrastructure
  • Understand the Morgan Stanley LMS process and train additional individuals as back up

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education experience required
  • 6-9 years of industry experience preferred
  • Intermediate experience working with e Learning development tools (examples Articulate, Captivate, Storyline, Rehearsal etc.)
  • Beginner to Intermediate experience with Agile development and rapid prototyping

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Intermediate to expert ability to design and develop in Adobe Experience Manager
  • Ability to develop AEM templates and document usage
  • Intermediate to advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScripting
  • Intermediate to advanced Adobe Photoshop skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Adobe After Effects skillset
  • Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office toolset
  • Possess exemplary communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Establish, maintain, and support strong working relationships
  • Ability to work in an environment with multiple high priority projects
  • Demonstrates accountability, a strong work ethic, and an eye for detail to promote confidence and trust in their work
  • Strong visual design acumen or prior graphic design experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet ambitious deadlines
  • Intermediate ability with XR (AR/VR)
  • Intermediate ability with Artificial Intelligence
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Excel and Sharepoint
