We are seeking someone to join our team as an Infrastructure Workplace Engineer.
Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley's software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Lead the engineering, development, and evolution of the Firm's Digital Experience Platform
  • Build new capabilities, enhance analytics, develop integrations and improve data pipelines
  • Drive automation to improve the Firm's end-user digital experience
  • Partner with global teams across Engineering, Operations, and Infrastructure
  • Ensure the product delivers actionable insights, high-quality telemetry, and measurable experience improvements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 6 years in enterprise IT with significant, hands-on experience with Digital platform engineering
  • Strong development skills in PowerShell, Python, or scripting languages, especially for automation and data transformation
  • Deep expertise with Digital platform Investigations, NQL/PQL, Dashboards, Metrics, DEX scoring, Campaigns, Alerts, and Remote Actions
  • Experience integrating Digital platforms with ITSM, observability, or logging pipelines
  • Solid understanding of Windows endpoint internals, performance telemetry, user-experience metrics, and device troubleshooting
  • Ability to lead platform architecture, design decisions, and engineering initiatives at scale
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
