We're seeking someone to join our team as a Associate_India Equity Branch Ops in Branch Ops Asia who works with India IED desk and performs all the functions right from account opening to settlement of trades.
- The India Equity Branch Ops team supports the India IED broking business
- Equity Sales & Trading business. The Listed Derivatives team works primarily for the Futures & Options Segment of NSE as a Trading cum Clearing Member. The responsibilities include KYC, Risk Management for Margins and Positions, Trade Give-up, Clearing and Settlement for the Futures and Options Segment.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within the [within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:
- Trade Support Management
- Collateral/ Margins Management
- Market Risk Management for Equity/Currency Derivatives
- Position Limits/ BAN Stocks
- Coordinate with Risk/ Client Relationship teams
- Settlements including Physical settlements
- Managing and maintaining client segregation of assets
- Accounting Knowledge up to balance sheet preparation
- Ability to understand accounting breaks and resolving them Good to Have
- Trade Booking (Trade bookings, trade confirmations, exchanging the confirmations on system applications etc)
- Communicating with the Traders, Custodians, Clients, Clearing Members and ensuring that the trade is booked timely and accurately
What you'll bring to the role:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in an Institutional Broking Firm in the Equity Derivatives side.
Good to Have:
- Trade Booking (Trade bookings, trade confirmations, exchanging the confirmations on system applications etc)
- Communicating with the Traders, Custodians, Clients, Clearing Members and ensuring that the trade is booked timely and accurately
- Knowledge of Exchange & SEBI Regulations
- Strong customer service focus, interpersonal and communication skills
- Well conversant with Equity market rules and regulations preferred
