The Executive Director for Global Equity Compensation and Workplace Wealth Initiatives will lead efforts within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Platforms, focusing on digital platforms that support Morgan Stanley at Work businesses. This role emphasizes Equity Compensation and leading initiatives in the Workplace Wealth space on a global scale. The mission is to create a best-in-class experience for corporate clients and their employees worldwide, enhancing their financial journey and deepening their relationship with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The approach will be highly scalable, leveraging an omni-channel strategy with a focus on messaging, onboarding, cross-selling, activation, and servicing. The goal is to drive growth across all client segments with new digital capabilities.

In the Wealth Management division, we help people, businesses and institutions build, preserve, and manage wealth so they can pursue their financial goals
Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of nine sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution. Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office.
What you’ll do in the role:

Lead the strategy and execution of digital, online, and mobile customer experiences specifically for Global Equity Compensation and Workplace Wealth initiatives.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organization to plan and deliver key initiatives that align with the firm's long-term strategy in the Workplace Wealth space globally.

Oversee the integration of equity compensation offerings with a clear path to advice, ensuring the full value of the firm is brought to clients.

Define and implement an ideal user experience across various digital platforms, focusing on equity compensation.

Communicate changes, coordinate deliverables, and track progress with a variety of internal stakeholders.

Oversee the writing of requirements/epics/stories for integrating equity compensation experiences into the wealth management client experience.

Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, features, and enhancements in the Workplace Wealth space.

Identify dependencies and keep constituent groups informed of progress towards delivery.

Maintain key strategic presentation materials for executive decision-making.

Ensure appropriate implementation of risk controls based on input from control partners (e.g., legal & compliance).

Define and track success metrics and oversee ongoing and ad-hoc data reporting requests.
Skills Required:
-
10+ years as a product owner/manager/analyst, with leadership experience.

Extensive experience with technology development processes and lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall).

Deep understanding of the corporate stock plan business and operating paradigms, with a focus on equity compensation.

Experience with trading platforms and a strong understanding of the global regulatory environment.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Proven ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple stakeholder groups (including end users) to enable decision-making.

Strong technical writing skills for user story/requirement writing.
-
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and building presentations for senior management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise business rules.

Knowledge of AI tools and data insights to inform product decisions, enhance user experiences, and integrate AI capabilities into product solutions.
