    We’re seeking someone to join our Legal & Compliance team as an Analyst to work as part of the Data Governance team with a focus on data governance and data quality management.

    In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm’s management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. The Data Governance Analyst supports the implementation of data governance policies and procedures, focusing on data quality, compliance, and operational excellence. This role collaborates with business and technology teams to ensure data assets are accurate, secure, and fit for purpose.

    What you’ll do in the role:

    - Develop and implement data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.

    - Conduct data quality assessments; identify and resolve data-related issues.

    - Maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, lineage, and flow diagrams.

    - Support data cataloging, profiling, and quality assessment initiatives.

    - Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop metrics and dashboards for data quality.

    - Participate in training sessions and workshops on data governance practices.

    What you’ll bring to the role:

    - Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

    - Conduct data quality assessments; identify and resolve data-related issues.

    - Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $75,000 and $95,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
