We’re seeking someone to join our team as a G10 / EM Rates Vol and Exotics Trader.

In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions. The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader across a broad range of commodities markets, with expertise in areas including client risk management, financing solutions and investor products Sales & Trading. From the largest global institutions to innovative new hedge funds, investors come to Morgan Stanley for sales, trading, and market-making services in almost every type of financial instruments including stocks, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodities. Our professionals provide liquidity and content to clients around the world, actively assessing and managing risk, trading securities, and planning and executing transactions in the fast-changing markets. What you’ll do in the role:

• Make markets and risk manage rates volatility and exotic products (swaptions, callable structures, exotic payoffs)
• Accurate booking of all trading activities within the relevant system
• Provide appropriate advice to clients and sales regarding market conditions and potential movements
• Build and manage relationships with both clients and stakeholders
• Manage and contribute desk trading strategies on an on-going basis

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience in rates volatility and exotic products
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience/exposure in markets
• Passion for markets and hunger/desire to learn more and succeed is critical
• Attention to detail and ability to solve problems, follow up and complete tasks
• Degree Level Education
