We’re seeking someone to join our Product Control team.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources. This is a Director level position within the Product Controllers team.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm

  • Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments

  • Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work

  • Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards

  • Manage the P&L who performs daily validation and substantiation of P&L and attributed P&L (Greek attributions) between Risk and reporting system.

  • Prepare daily P&L reports for distribution to the business unit and finance managers for review.

  • Understand the businesses supported including the strategy, products and inherent risks.

  • Understand the risk & reporting systems and contribute to enhancing the control environment.

  • Escalate issues in a timely manner to management.

  • Contribute to Finance related projects, process enhancements, UAT testing etc.

  • Other P&L related tasks and requests as required.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • In depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment

  • Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities

  • Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes

  • Strong academic background including a Graduation in Commerce, specialization in Financial Accounting.

  • Prior Business Unit/ Product control experience with knowledge of financial products is preferable.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.

  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
