Morgan Stanley (“MS”) is a global financial services firm that conducts its business through three principal business segments—Institutional Securities Group (ISG), Wealth Management (MSWM), and Investment Management (MSIM).  As of September 30, 2025, MSWM and MS Investment Management (MSIM) have client assets of approximately $8.9 trillion.

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s (MSWMs) Insured Solutions Relationship Manager will act as a de facto “ambassador” or primary contact to many of our key stakeholders including insurance carrier partners, MSWM National Sales/Business Development Organization & Integrated Firm Management.  Success to the role will include the expansion of partner investment efforts to MSWM Platform and execution on initiatives designed to promote Insured Solutions across the Firm. The effect will include the broadening of products to a larger dispersion of FA’s/clients and improving our partner firm’s ROI on writing business at Morgan Stanley vs. our peer group.

Responsibilities:

Relationship Management

  • Provide single point of contact to keep insurer key account managers informed to corporate & department initiatives of focus.
  • Scheduling and managing the agenda for FA education events and carrier semi-annual business reviews.
  • Provide timely collateral materials/metrics detailing target growth opportunities, best practices consistent to the department’s growth strategy.
  • Provide platform updates indicating leverage opportunities associated to new utilities/functionality.
  • Provide monthly, or upon request, relationship summaries of key insurance carriers to the Relationship Management Group (RMG) and other internal organizations
  • Develop and maintain relationships across key internal stakeholders including but not limited to, Global Investment Office (GIO), Global Sports & Entertainment (GSE), Marketing, Sales, etc.

Sales & Marketing Campaign Management

  • Provide Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Office commentary including opportunities to leverage internal resources at partner sponsored events.
  • Develop metrics identifying leverage opportunities for carrier marketing initiatives.
  • Provide feedback utilizing FA surveys to individual carrier strengths and weaknesses.
  • Create and maintain the library of Next Best Actions (NBAs), ensuring alignment with department themes
  • Enhance the marketing calendar of sales ideas with consistent themes and focus topics across annuity, insurance, and property & casualty lines

Support Competitive Intelligence Activities

  • FA Compensation for annuity products

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience at wealth management firm, private bank or commercial bank.
  • Functional experience in project management, sales, strategy, marketing, communications, data analytics/metrics in a leadership role.
  • B.A. degree required.
  • Life Insurance License and Series 7 preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, performance and metrics tracking.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
