MS Investment Management Technology (IMIT)
Morgan Stanley Investment Management Technology exclusively partners with the Morgan Stanley Investment Management business division to design and develop systems and integrate vendor products to globally support full life cycle business processing. Activities include Portfolio Analysis, Risk, Trading, Operations, and Sales & Marketing. Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) Technology also provides holistic support and quality assurance across the suite of applications used in the MSIM environment.
Opportunity with the team
In Equity Front Office Technology, we are rapidly transforming the way business is done. We seek an experienced fullstack developer to join the team and embark on this transformation journey. The individual will work as part of the global agile development team, which is spread across 4 MSIM sites. The individual will help the team design and develop a modern technology stack to power our digital platforms aimed at unlocking efficiencies for our Investment Teams. As a fullstack front office developer, the individual will also work closely with the Investment Management business to solve operational problems and design strategic solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:
Working with our business partners to reimagine their workflows using Agentic orchestration.
Designing and developing modern and modular web applications using modern coding and testing standards.
Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team's goals.
Working independently using modern software development practices.
Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.
Leading with ideas and innovation.
Managing communication and partnering with our end users (MSIM Investment Teams) to design solutions.
Competencies:
Experience developing enterprise applications.
Experience designing distributed systems
Experience building enterprise grade micro services.
Experience writing unit, component and integration tests.
Experience working with relational or NoSql database.
Good understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments with a focus on Equities.
Strong computer science fundamentals.
