MSWM’s Alternative Investments business is an industry leading provider of alternative investments with more than $180B in assets under management across a wide array of products, including, but not limited to hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, managed futures, private equity, private credit, real estate funds, exchange funds, real assets and digital assets.
Position Summary:
The Alternative Investments business mission is to provide MSWM clients with a unique, world-class, diverse array of alternative investment products and services through product origination and sourcing, product management and client servicing as well as sales and marketing. It is one of the fastest growing businesses at the Firm and in the industry.
The Alternative Investments Transfers Analyst will be responsible for transfers across a wide spectrum of alternative investments products. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners, including but not limited to financial advisors and their teams, asset managers and fund administrators.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6 months to 2.4 years of experience in financial services related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Inquisitive, creative thinker who is motivated to learn and driven to achieve exceptional results.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong work ethic and interest in improving business, technical and operational processes.
- Ability to make connections across multiple data sources.
- Excellent analytical skills and proactive mindset.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a particular strength in Microsoft Excel is required.
