Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Java System Designing Lead, in PWM Asia Tech to work on Java Fullstack Application Development and Designing with good exposure on Java, React or Angular, Springboot and microservices.

Private Wealth Management Asia Technology (PWM Asia Tech) is responsible for providing front to back technology services to businesses that manage the Firm's high-net-worth clients in Asia and Australia, managing the technology platform that covers customer on-boarding, order management, on-going client service and reporting.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Software Engineer position at Vice President Level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Strong technologist with passion for high quality engineering and problem solving.

  • Good collaboration with team members and stakeholders across the globe.

  • Agile development principle, methodologies and devops adoption of CI/CD/CM.

  • Participating in Requirement Analysis, Design, Architecture, Development and Code reviews.

  • Guide team members in design and development and partner with fellow colleagues/leads on moving platform forward across the entire PWM technology footprint.

  • Self-Starter mindset with strong leadership skills and team-oriented goals

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 9 Yrs. of experience working in system or application designing.

  • Strong experience with React or any other JS based frontend technology.

  • Experience with managing small-sized teams of 5-10 members

  • Strong experience with Data Structure Algorithm, Design Patterns.

  • Good experience with Architecture and providing solutions.

  • Hands-on with Java, Spring and other open source server-side technologies and microservices.

  • Domain driven design and Event/Message based architectures.

  • Matured devops and Internal cloud deployments. Partial external cloud deployments.

  • UI - Angular, C#, Mobile and REST services. Microservices and Caching technologies.

  • Relational and document Databases with high volume of data processing.

Skills Required:

  • Hands-on Java and open source server-side technologies development experience.

  • Strong fundamentals of object-oriented design and event/message driven architecture. (MQs, Kafka etc)

  • Quick learner and ability to understand and follow functional processing of the system.

  • Practical experience of Agile development.

  • At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
