About the Role

This is a Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What You'll Do in the Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making and analytics.
  • Build and optimize semantic models, DAX calculations, and data visualizations for actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and deliver high-quality reporting solutions.
  • Integrate data from various sources, perform ETL processes, and ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Leverage GenAI, Copilot, and AI-driven tools to enhance reporting automation, testing, and developer productivity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data models, report logic, and data flows.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support end-users with training, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements to reporting solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • 3-8 years of hands-on experience in Power BI report and dashboard development.
  • Strong expertise in semantic modeling, DAX, and Power BI best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging GenAI, Copilot, or AI-based tools for reporting, automation, or testing, including automated test case generation.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with automated testing and testing frameworks

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

  • Familiarity with Python, Shell scripting, or other programming languages.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong team player, dynamic, and eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in finance, investment banking, or related domains is a plus.
