What you’ll do in the role:
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking a Vice President, Global Capital Markets in New York, New York, to lead the execution of capital markets transactions inclusive of IPOs, follow-ons, convertible debt, investment-grade and high-yield offerings and liability management exercises. Oversee the syndication process, including order book management, allocation strategies, investor engagement, and pricing discussions in collaboration with sales, trading and syndicate desk partners. Drive client engagement by delivering market insights and capital structure advice tailored to strategic and transactional objectives. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during active transactions and ongoing relationship management. Partner closely with investment banking coverage teams to originate capital markets mandates and pitch comprehensive financing solutions. Oversee the preparation of offering memoranda, investor presentations, internal credit markets and other transaction documents. Manage end-to-end execution process including diligence, documentation, investor marketing, pricing and closing. Mentor and supervise Analysts and Associates, fostering development of technical and professional skills. Maintain strong relationships with trading, research, legal and compliance teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
What you’ll bring to the role:
-Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, or a closely related field of study.
-Requires five (5) years of experience as Vice President, Associate, or Analyst in Business Management or Banking, or a closely related occupation.
-Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills:
- Executing capital raising transactions including equity and debt transactions including IPOs, follow-ons and block trades, investment grade, and high-yield offerings
- Performing valuation and financial modeling, LBO models, IPO valuation models, and DCF models, corporate finance transaction structuring and analysis
- Reading and interpreting financial statements
- Building and maintaining operating and valuation models
- Preparing memorandums, management presentations, reviewing legal documentation and regulatory fillings
- Leveraging data sources including Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, Microsoft Office, and Eikon

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $275,000.00 and $275,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
