We are seeking an Enablement Lead for a pivotal role within the Firmwide Data Office, responsible
for driving divisional-wide standards, reporting, and insight that enable effective delivery across fleets. This is not an administrative co-ordinating position: the Enablement Lead is a strategic operator and strong doer who proactively synthesises complex information into clear, compelling narratives for leadership, ensures divisional alignment, and drives cross-fleet effectiveness.
The role is ideally suited to someone with consulting-style problem-solving skills, strong analytical acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Technology is the key differentiator that ensures that we manage our global businesses and serve clients on a market-leading platform that is resilient, safe, efficient, smart, fast, and flexible. Technology redefines how we do business in global, complex, and dynamic financial markets. We have a large number of award-winning technology platforms that help to propel our Firm's businesses to be the top in the market. We have a vibrant and diverse mix of technologists working on different technologies and functional domains. There is a large focus on innovation, inclusion, giving back to the community and sharing knowledge.
Firmwide Data Office
Managing the accuracy & timeliness of our data enables our businesses, helps us to make informed decisions and protects us from risk. Firmwide data office (FDO) is a group within the Cyber, Data Risk and Resiliency Division that focuses on Data as a key priority of Morgan Stanley's overall Strategy. FDO develops tooling & solutions for Data Flows, Data Risk Reduction, Discover & Insights & Cyber-Security & Resiliency.

- Define and embed consistent standards for tooling, reporting, and delivery practices (e.g., Jira workflows, backlog reporting dashboards).
- Act as the divisional lead for enablement tools and processes, ensuring they support efficiency and insight across all fleets.
- Anticipate and proactively solve cross-fleet challenges, driving alignment and continuous improvement.
Synthesis & Storytelling:
- Proactively gather, analyse, and synthesise inputs across fleets into cohesive, high-quality divisional reports.
- Develop compelling executive-level narratives and storylines for divisional reviews, IBRs, and leadership forums.
- Distil complex data and delivery information into simple, actionable insights for senior leaders.
Reporting & Leadership Insight:
- Own the creation of divisional reporting packs, and leadership decks.
- Manage divisional-led reporting with precision and clarity, ensuring materials are accurate, insightful, and timely.
- Influence decision-making through data-driven storytelling and crisp communication.
Cross-Fleet Collaboration & Influence:
- Work closely with Fleet Enablement Leads to ensure divisional priorities, dependencies, and risks are understood and addressed.
- Act as a trusted partner to divisional leadership, bringing forward solutions and recommendations.
- Build credibility across the division by combining strong execution with strategic insight.
What you'll bring in the role:
- 7-10 years working in a global Strategy, Executive Reporting or Strategic Enablement role
- Some experience in consulting (e.g., Mc Kinsey, EY, Bain, Deloitte) preferable
- Solid understanding of the Financial Services Industry and Data Management
- Experience of working on programs focused on delivering change to technology risk & controls or of a regulatory, internal audit or operational risk nature preferable
- Adept ability to comprehend and extract technical concepts from business requirements and accurately summarize in a digestible way (e.g., user stories to wider departmental outcomes)
- Proven ability to synthesise large amounts of information into high-quality executive deliverables.
- Outstanding relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications
- Strong storytelling, narrative-building, and presentation skills with the ability to frame and shape divisional-level narratives.
- Advanced skills with Jira and reporting/insight tools.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and hands-on, with a bias for execution and ownership.
