Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking an Employee Communications Specialist to partner with the HR Director in developing and executing an effective internal communications strategy. You will use diverse communication tools and channels, such as newsletters, leadership briefings, town halls which the CAG Senior Leadership Team (SLT) participates, internal platforms, Share Point, videos, and surveys, to engage and inform approximately 2,500 employees across the US, UK, Ireland, India, and the Philippines. Your goal is to inspire alignment with our vision, enhance employee engagement, boost retention, and support business performance. This on-site role will be in East Aurora, New York.
As an Employee Communications Specialist, you will:

Develop and implement the group’s internal communications strategy and continuously improve communication plans.

Create, write, edit, and distribute clear, engaging communications that translate complex business initiatives into accessible messages for all employee levels.

Support the Group President and senior leaders with written and verbal communications, including presentations to employees.

Manage the Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) newsletter from content sourcing to publication on a consistent schedule.

Oversee the CAG web site content, collaborating with IT and leaders to ensure functionality and relevance.

Communicate key group milestones, including year-end achievements and fiscal year results, to keep employees informed.

Collaborate with HR to implement employee listening initiatives such as surveys and polls; analyze data and recommend improvements to the employee experience.

Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to communication methods and channels to better engage employees.

Align with the enterprise Communications COE to leverage company-wide strategies, digital tools, and multimedia resources.
As an Employee Communications Specialist, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
-
Three (3) to five (5) years in marketing, PR, or communications with internal communications responsibility.

Strong writer and editor who adapts tone across channels and proofreads carefully.
-
Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders to refine and elevate messaging.
-
Able to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
-
Skilled at researching and sourcing meaningful content for employees and leaders.
-
Proven ability to build and maintain global communication relationships and partner with the Communications CoE.
-
Experience across multiple channels including web, social, video, newsletters, intranet, apps, podcasts, blogs, town halls, and executive presentations.

Experience designing two-way communication and recommending survey approaches to capture employee and leader feedback.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Share Point.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $78,000.00–$95,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
