The Space Sector of Moog’s Space and Defense Group (SDG) designs and manufactures systems to survive the harsh environments of space travel. As an industry leader in space avionics, actuation and mechanisms, propulsion, power, structures, and shock and vibration control, Moog has been committed to the space industry for more than 60 years and Moog products have been to every planet.
Our team in the SDG Space Sector’s Actuation and Avionics Business Unit is looking for an Engineering Technician for the Electrical Process Engineering Group to provide engineering leadership to our team. You will report directly to the Senior Process Engineering Manager.
Day- to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineers and operations to maintain product velocity.
- Author, edit, and maintain product specific and process work instructions.
- Investigate and disposition e-HR anomalies.
- Assist engineering with experiments, qualifications, and investigations.
- Provide standardized work instructions and preventative maintenance plans for equipment.
- Any other tasks that may be needed to ensure product quality and integrity.
Here are the skills you’ll bring with you…
- Experience in circuit card, cable or electronic box build manufacturing.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred) with 2+ years of relevant technical experience or an Associate’s Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred) with 8+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Ability to work onsite in East Aurora, NY (remote candidates will not be considered).
Preferred Skills…
- Electrical Process Engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and individually to complete tasks and projects.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Moog systems, including Teamcenter, iWI-N, TipQA
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $32.00–$39.00 Hourly
Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
