We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You’ll work on mission critical systems that power billions of dollars in money movement and power the worlds most innovative fintechs companies and digital banks. As a member of our infrastructure team, you will build the developer tooling and infrastructure that enables our internal development teams to move quickly and with confidence. You will help to design systems, respond and resolve incidents, and adapt our infrastructure to be ever more resilient. You will contribute Rust and Python code for our internal developer tooling and infrastructure. Experience in payments is not required.
Job responsibilities:

Build and manage our cloud and on-prem shared infrastructure

Contribute to software projects that provide developer tooling that make lithic software engineers more effective

Contribute to our Rust developer platform tooling
-
Contribute to our Pulumi & Python infrastructure as code tooling
-
Be on the on-call rotation for the infrastructure team - this is for the systems that the infrastructure team owns, product software teams have their own on-calls
-
Demonstrated experience in SRE and SWE supporting production workloads at scale

Experience with CI/CD and deployment patterns

Experience with AWS

Solid understanding of Linux systems & networking

Experience with observability tooling and practices

Experience with Relational Databases (Postgres in particular is a plus)

Ability to write clear, maintainable, thoughtfully commented code

Familiarity with strongly typed languages such Rust, Typescript, or Golang and scripting languages like Python or Javascript
Qualifications:

At least 2 years experience as an infrastructure team member or SRE

At least 2 years experience as a software engineer

Experience using AWS is a must
-
Success participating in on-call infrastructure rotations
Base salary range for US candidates: $160,000 - $200,000
This is a remote position. However, candidates must be located in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic. We do not offer visa sponsorship or assistance.
