We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing Gurugram Products & Technology team to develop and expand core parts of a new platform we are building to make it easier for customers to build AI applications using MongoDB.

As a Software Engineer on this new team, you will be responsible for developing cutting edge technologies related to enabling deployment at scale of AI applications. You will take on challenging, high-visibility projects that improve and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of the distributed systems infrastructure for this new product. Position Expectations

• Writing and testing software in commonly used high level programming languages, such as Go, Python, Java, Javascript and others

• Design, build and deliver well-tested core pieces of the platform in collaboration with other vested parties

• Working closely with cross functional teams to create end user features that deliver quality software to our clients

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Have a foundation in computer science theory, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design

• Proficient in one of our commonly used languages which include Go, Python, Java, Javascript, C++, or comparable high level programming languages

• Experience writing and testing software whether as part of an internship, in a personal project, in a coding competition, or for research

• Good verbal and written technical communication skills, desire to collaborate with colleagues

• Eager to learn, with a strong technical background
