MongoDB is seeking a Director responsible for leading and developing our Cybersecurity Incident Response Team as part of the MongoDB Security Operations organization.
The Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT) is responsible for security incident management and investigations across the enterprise as well as the production Atlas services.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Effectively manage a global team of senior security analysts and investigators
-
Drive quickly towards clarity in complex and ambiguous situations including customer and employee facing incidents, and sensitive investigations
-
Manage large incidents directly, serving as an incident commander
-
Guide partner teams to strategically enhance our mitigation tools and defense posture based on post-incident analysis
-
Participate in the design and execution of tabletop exercises in order to test our incident response processes and technical decision-making in simulated scenarios
Qualifications
-
15+ years experience in cybersecurity technical and leadership roles
-
Strong understanding of security incident handling, legal and regulatory requirements
-
Experience using security information management, orchestration and automation tools, forensics tools, and integrating them into automated response processes
-
Ability to navigate complex organizational environments and drive change
-
CISSP or other industry certifications are a plus
