Job Summary:
The purpose of the role is to hire a resource to work as part of the GST litigation team as well as other engagements related to GST and Other Indirect tax laws.
How you will contribute
You will:
Litigation & Notice Management:
-
Support handling of GST notices, audits, and appeals.
-
Maintain tracker for ongoing litigation matters and statutory timelines.
-
Assist in drafting submissions, replies, and reconciliation statements.
-
Coordinate with external consultants, legal counsels, and internal stakeholders.

Compile case laws, legal research, and supporting documentation.
-
Travel Pan-India for representing before GST authorities (as and when required).
Documentation & Data Management:
-
Maintain centralized repository of litigation documents and orders.
-
Support data extraction and reconciliations required for litigation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
-
Work closely with finance, supply chain, and business teams to gather information.

Support resolution of tax positions through fact validation and analysis.
Risk Monitoring & Insights:

Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive actions.

Assist in developing standard responses and litigation playbooks.
- Support in refund claims under GST

Preparation of timely refund claims under GST
-
Engage with authorities for processing of claims
What you will bring
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills – and able to understand and interpret data
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player who can work with many other functions
Education / Certifications/ Experience:
-
CA / CA-Inter /LLB/ Diploma in Taxation (mainly GST)
Mandatory Industry experience:
- Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage
4.Experience of handling GST litigation & dealing with tax authorities
Job specific requirements:
4-7 years of work experience from FMCG or any manufacturing environment industry
Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
