Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Line Leader to take end-to-end accountability for operational excellence and team development within our Capriata D'Orba Plant. This role is crucial for driving performance across key operational metrics and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- End-to-End Operational Accountability: Assume 360-degree accountability for all KPIs within the assigned production line and area, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Moral.
People Leadership & Development:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective team management.
- Drive individual growth and development through the creation and implementation of Individual Development Plans and ongoing performance feedback.
- Act as a true People Leader, ensuring team engagement, motivation, and professional growth.
Continuous Improvement & Change Management:
- Act as a proactive "Agent of Change" by championing and driving Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Integrated Lean Six Sigma framework.
- Actively contribute to relevant IL6S pillars and spearhead the advancement of IL6S phases.
- Compliance & Safety Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to all company policies and regulatory compliance, with particular emphasis on upholding the highest standards of People Safety and Food Safety.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical) or a related Scientific discipline (e.g., Food Technology).
- A minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating direct responsibility for production processes, product quality, and people management.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability in people management, including coaching, mentoring, and effective team development.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to effectively manage complex operational demands and deliver against critical business objectives.
- Deep understanding and unwavering commitment to upholding compliance standards, particularly in People Safety and Food Safety.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address operational challenges and drive efficiency.
- A proactive mindset with a strong drive for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
