Under close supervision, you will support accounting and external reporting activities including coordination with external service providers and 3rd party accounting to assure accurate and timely financial documents processing and payments, as well as timeliness and integrity of statutory financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

How you will contribute

You will, for our companies in Serbia (RS), Croatia (HR) and Slovenia (SI):

• Coordinate payment process with service provider and local banks
• Perform bank statements bookings
• Perform some role- related tasks during month/ quarter/ year end close
• Prepare reconciliation in Black Line for some general ledger accounts
• Handle administration and support treasury with tasks related to payment business cards
• Control travel expenses before postings (for HR and SI)
• Support audit activities and provide information at an external auditor’s request
• Perform ad hoc projects and analyses as requested
• Be key contact person and link between the Local Mdlz organization, AP Mdlz CoE and AP Accenture (for HR and SI)
• Escalation process: supporting the Local organization on the AP issues and the outsourced team on the open item’s and unsolved issues resolutions (for HR and SI)
• Validating / proposing the vendors clearings (for HR and SI)
• Providing daily control of outsourced team accuracy and giving booking instruction for overheads related invoices (for HR and SI)
• Checking relevant invoice’s back up (proof of performance) for compliance with statutory standards and tax legislation (for HR and SI)
• Responsibility for preparation of reconciliation with vendors and customer statements and resolve disputed items (for HR and SI)

• Contribute to a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team and invest in your personal development

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

• TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in accounting and external reporting (SAP experience preferred)
• EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE in the area of finance and accounting
• BUSINESS ACUMEN and EXPERIENCE working in finance department in international environment preferred
• SOFT SKILLS including strong communication skills. Team player with a drive to deliver results
• GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and financial system knowledge
• INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values, policies and external regulations
