We are monday.com, a global software company transforming how businesses run. Our product suite can adapt to the needs of diverse industries and use cases within one powerful platform, empowering ~245,000 customers worldwide to reimagine how work gets done, drive greater efficiency, and scale like never before.

With over 2,500 employees across the globe, we grow by prioritizing transparency and knowledge sharing. We care about the impact you make, not the hours you clock, so we encourage initiative, ownership, and fresh thinking. We back our people with flexible work, wellness and mental health support, and a work environment built on collaboration.

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically IT App Developer to join our IT team.

This role is critical in designing, building, and owning internal applications, platforms, and services that scale IT and business operations across monday.com.

The IT App Developer will work closely with IT, Security, Infrastructure, Compliance (SOX), and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable internal systems.

You will own applications end-to-end from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing operation and play a key role in modernizing internal tooling through cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions.

  • Own the full software development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance

  • Design and implement REST or GraphQL APIs, including authentication and authorization

  • Build internal UIs, admin tools, and operational interfaces when required

  • Deploy and operate services in AWS / GCP, collaborating closely with the Infrastructure and Cloud teams

  • Design and manage SQL and NoSQL datastores and data models

  • Build secure, auditable systems aligned with security best practices and SOX compliance requirements

  • Design and build AI-powered workflows and agents to support day-to-day IT and business operations

  • 2+ years of experience in application development, or internal platform development

  • Strong backend development experience (e.g. TypeScript / Node.js, Python)

  • Familiar with frontend development

  • Strong understanding of API design, authentication, and authorization

  • Experience managing dependencies and packages (e.g. npm, pip, Maven)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git-based development workflows

  • Strong understanding of security, secrets management, and audit requirements

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience working in a SaaS-first, high-growth company is an advantage
