The Azure Block Storage team is responsible for delivering block storage solutions for Virtual Machines (VMs), containers, and a variety of customer workloads. You can be part of a strategic team with Microsoft-wide and industry-wide impact.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and business stakeholders to shape product roadmaps, determine investment priorities, and ensure our solutions make a measurable impact for both our customers and Microsoft. - Responsibilities- Research customer and partner scenarios, gather insights into industry trends, listen and understand customer requirements, and translate them into viable product roadmaps, strategies, and motions.
- Drive end to end product development including new ideas, user experience, go to market plan, and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including engineering, operations, business, marketing, and support – to deliver high-impact features on time and within budget.
- Partner with stakeholders to define, collect, analyze, and interpret metrics to validate product hypotheses, measure success, and iterate quickly.
- Ensure all solutions meet Microsoft’s security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- 4+ years in technical product management, technical program management, or related technical roles.
- 2+ year experience with hyperscale cloud storage technologies, distributed systems, or enterprise customer needs.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
