We are looking for an individual with high standards of excellence to join our engineering team to build amazing experiences that are robust, fast and seamless. The ideal candidate is skilled at design and implementation, and able to and own architectural designs and collaborate well across multiple partner teams.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
- Responsibilities- Skilled at design and implementation with a focus on quality.
- Create layered, componentized, testable, interface-based designs.
- Robust implementation and crafted end-user experiences.
- Design highly performant, highly usable, scalable, world-ready, accessible software.
- Collaborate across functional and partner teams to define requirements.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.OR equivalent experience.
- Excellent design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of C++ or Windows development experience.
- Experience with Microservices and Azure or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Machine Learning, Data Driven Engineering or Agile Development is a plus.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies is a plus.
