Microsoft Edge for Business is an industry-leading secure enterprise browser and we’re looking for a strong communicator and influencer to build out our growing fan base of IT and security professionals. If you’re someone who can connect with others authentically, tell a good story, and get the security details right, read on.

In this role, you will build an active, visible community of advocates for Edge for Business, across social media, online forums, in-person events and other engagement opportunities. You will join the worldwide go-to-market team for Microsoft Edge for Business, which serves organizations and their users. We’re a team of strong storytellers who believe in supporting our customers with the best browser for business.

Responsibilities-
Maintain an active presence on the Edge for Business social accounts (LinkedIn, X, and Reddit) acting as a subject matter expert on Edge for Business, inclusive of integrations with other Microsoft products. At least 50% of your time will be devoted to this.

  • Creatively develop and deliver compelling content with a focus on enterprise security, in short and long-form, across demos, social posts, explainers, presentations, and technical guidance. (Please be prepared to provide and walk through at least 3 pieces of sample content during the interview process.)

  • Represent Edge for Business at events and other community engagements

  • Support marketing colleagues on your team to develop scenarios to bring technical value prop to life and set up the demo environment to run and record the demos, across device types

  • Listen deeply. Monitor and address community questions and feedback with practical and trustworthy technical answers that build confidence with our fan base. Identify marketing, business, and product needs in that process.

  • Collaborate with marketers to craft creative content and the engineering team to relay meaningful insights and advocate for user needs

  • Measure impact through growth of the community, and quality and quantity of engagement

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in endpoint management, enterprise security, engineering, product marketing, social marketing, or related disciplines
  • Or equivalent experiences, such as technical certifications in cybersecurity or IT management.
  • Experience in technical community management or advocacy, public speaking, event organization, or technical training, preferably within the IT or security sector.
  • Deep understanding of real world browser security scenarios, from identity to device management to data protection, including AI opportunities and threats
  • Active participation in relevant online communities and social media platforms.
  • Experience with Edge for Business or similar enterprise browser solutions (GPO/Intune, policies, extensions, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft Security (Entra, Purview, Defender), Intune, Windows/Windows365/AVD

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
