Havok delivers industry‑leading game development technology used by many of the world’s top AAA studios and publishers. We work closely with developers to support their projects across the full development lifecycle, combining deep technical expertise with long‑term, trusted partnerships.
Role Summary The Developer Account Manager (DAM) owns Havok’s relationships with a regional portfolio of game studios and publishers. You act as a trusted business partner, guiding customers from early engagement and evaluation through production, renewal, and growth.
This is not a traditional sales role. You manage end‑to‑end customer relationships and collaborate closely with Field Application Engineers, Developer Relations, Product, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver the right technical and commercial outcomes.
- Responsibilities- Own and execute a regional account strategy to build and manage a licensing pipeline
- Balance new customer acquisition with retention and expansion of existing accounts
- Lead opportunities from initial engagement through evaluation, licensing, invoicing, and payment
- Partner with FAEs to manage evaluations, presentations, and customer expectations
- Build long‑term relationships across studios and publishers
- Act as the central coordination point for customer requests across internal teams
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, pricing requests, and contract processes
Qualifications:
Required
- Proven experience in enterprise technical sales, business development, or account management
- Substantial experience in B2B technical solution sales within games or entertainment
- Experience negotiating complex software or technology license agreements
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Dynamics 365
- Ability to work independently and travel within the region
Preferred
- Strong understanding of the games industry and development pipelines
- Experience working with game studios or publishers
- Background transitioning from a technical role into account management
