As a Product Designer II on the Engage team, you will be at the forefront of developing AI applications that make communicating and sharing knowledge at work easier, more connected, and more authentic. By designing advanced UX solutions and AI-powered workflows, you will be addressing top challenges around digital safety, security, and deep analytics to help our customers foster thriving culture within their organizations. #Viva Engage

Your work will touch multiple endpoints within the Microsoft 365 customer journey and contribute to high-impact, cross-product initiatives. You will have the opportunity to be part of a rich community of designers, PMs, engineers, and researchers working closely to develop AI-driven solutions, while also experimenting with powerful AI tools to transform your own design process.   • Responsibilities- Conceptualize and create interaction models and detailed designs at various levels of fidelity for new and existing product features.
  • Assist in ideation sessions with the team, representing design priorities and helping influence product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align design solutions to business, technical, security, and user requirements.
  • Collaborate with research to validate approach, gather feedback on design work, and iterate to continuously improve customer experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure implemented designs align to design and security specifications and adhere to standards of accessibility.
  • Utilize and contribute components to the shared design system.
  • Collaborate with other designers to iterate and improve on patterns.
  • Partner with engineers to implement polished UI components in code.
  • Communicate work clearly and professionally to the team and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members to develop roadmaps and craft compelling product narratives.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
  • Experience designing and prototyping in Figma.
    Preferred qualifications:- Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service designOR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design
  • OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
  • 2+ years experience shipping products, services, or games and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process.
  • Experience shipping products to customers through implementing an end-to-end design process.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools in your design process.
  • Experience that demonstrates ability to advocate for design thinking, effectively influence design outcomes, uncover problems, and tackle them in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.

Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
