Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The Fabric Reliability team is looking for a Technical Program Manager for a crucial role for the success of the program and the business! As the Central Reliability team, we focus on three key areas: 1. Standardizing reliability telemetry and metrics. 2. Driving cross-workloads service reviews and processes for continuous improvement. 3. Service reliability reporting and analytics. The team operates in a dynamic environment where agility, collaboration, and open communication are key. Responsibilities
1. Learns and educates others what the quality-of-service success criteria and reliability metrics (e.g., objectives and key results [OKRs], key performance indicators [KPIs] such as quality and reliability) for Fabric Platform and Fabric workloads offering and how to execute to achieve them. Works with Engineering partners and Operational stakeholders to ensure needed telemetry is developed. 2. Partner with others to collect reliability and quality metrics (e.g., key performance indicators [KPIs] such as usage, availability, ), monitor and report on progress (e.g., service reviews), and derive insights that lead to productive courses of action to improve quality-of-service. 3. Builds on latest Microsoft Fabric capabilities to develop near real-time insight at scale and just in time actions. 4. Leverages technologies, artificial intelligence and Generative AI, data platforms, telemetry, to scale processes to self-service and compliant by default offerings. Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in business analytics and data science Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements arerequired for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: - This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
