Dragon Copilot: Healthcare providers spend nearly half their time on documentation and other administrative tasks.  Dragon Copilot uses AI to generate clinical documentation from patient-doctor conversations to reduce their documentation burden, reduce burnout and bring back the joy of practicing medicine. Job Overview:

This internship will explore the application of large language models to generate high-quality clinical documentation. The focus will be on  fine-tuning large language models while maintaining general steerability in the clinical domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop prompts and fine-tune large language models for accurate clinical language generation.
• Apply techniques to distill knowledge from highly performant large language models to relatively smaller models.
• Design and develop scalable and robust tools for data processing, experimentation, and analysis of results. Contribute wellengineered components to the team’s software stack.
• Drive systematic improvements in system accuracy through carefully designed experimentation and analysis.
• Produce clear documentation of methods, results, and insights, and actively share findings through presentations and collaborative discussions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• At least 1 year of experience with natural language processing or machine learning.
• Must be legally authorised to work in Germany.
• Must speak fluent English.
