Overview

This role sits within a customer-facing technical leadership team responsible for driving large-scale digital transformation using Microsoft cloud technologies. The role leads and enables a team of architects to engage senior customer technical decision makers, design and validate cloud architectures, and accelerate adoption of prioritized Microsoft solutions. By combining deep technical expertise, industry insight, and strong coaching capability, this role ensures high-quality architecture delivery, successful pilots and proofs of concept, and scalable customer engagements—both directly and through partners. The role plays a critical part in shaping customer strategy, removing technical and organizational blockers, and building long-term trusted advisor relationships that drive customer success and Microsoft growth.

  • Responsibilities- Coach and enable a team of architects to proactively engage key customer technical decision makers, establish credibility, and drive successful technical outcomes across multiple accounts.
  • Lead and guide the design, validation, and delivery of secure, scalable cloud architectures, including oversight of pilots and proofs of concept to ensure alignment with business impact and customer success criteria.
  • Set clear expectations around methodology, governance, and risk management, ensuring consistent architectural quality and adherence to Microsoft standards.
  • Drive customer digital transformation by building customer timelines, accelerating time-to-value, and aligning technical solutions to business goals and industry priorities.
  • Maximize the impact of customer engagements through capacity planning, prioritization, and effective use of internal resources, programs, and tools.
  • Scale customer success through partners by coaching teams to grow partner networks, leverage partner capabilities, and apply reusable demonstration assets and architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership and thought leadership by sharing insights, contributing content, enabling competitive learning, and coaching teams to deliver one-to-many technical events and customer education sessions.

Qualifications:

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 5+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR 8+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, Portuguese and Spanish demonstrating the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology.
