Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, One Drive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is supported by more than 300 datacenters around the world that enable services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries.

Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfillment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages business operations performance and supplies hardware to the datacenters. Well-defined and executed supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization.   • Responsibilities- You will own end‑to‑end material readiness across Tier‑2 suppliers → hub → SI, ensuring build order can start production ontime without constrained by component availability.
  • Drive material risk identification and mitigation, including shortages, yield issues, ECO impacts, and pull‑in demand scenarios.
  • Drive timely shortage resolution by coordiating with SI, Tier-2 Supplier, Hub operation, logistics sourcing.
  • Partner with SIs, sourcing, and engineering teams to validate material supportability and readiness for demand changes and ramp events.
  • Monitor and improve material health metrics (commit vs. build, clear‑to‑build readiness gaps, cycle‑time impact), and lead escalations as needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy and end‑to‑end visibility across systems to enable proactive material decisions and on‑time cloud hardware delivery.
  • You will develop and influence Cloud supply plans. You’ll also conduct analysis and determine “what-if” scenarios impacting supply and demand management, and help lead contingency plans and impact assessments.
  • You will apply strategy for determining the best operating model for optimizing service levels, costs, and inventory positioning. You’ll also collaborate with the team in developing the strategy for transferring materials, builds, and shipments.
  • After overseeing the planning of required raw materials, you will direct the transition from old to new products while avoiding waste. You’ll also address the obsolescence of goods by proposing recommendations, and provide leadership to correct complex issues when reacting to changes in demand build.
  • You will serve as an expert in tools and processes for managing supply and driving improvements, summarizing complex systems and guiding standardization. You’ll also manage data sources for analyzing supply, oversee the creation of dashboards to present analysis, and design data management processes.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology related experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skill
  • Proficient in English to be able to conduct and actively engaged in discussions with cross culture teams.
  • Result oriented problem solving skills – able to demonstrate strong analytics ability on data analysis, and ability to design and execute action plans which drive to final resolution.
  • Experience with Server or Cloud Supply Chain Operation.
