The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.
You will lead the development and execution of market development strategies, and creative concepts and assets, to ensure go-to-market planning and execution is aligned, on-track and delivers against business goals. As a Product Marketing Manager with demonstrated success leading content strategy, product marketing, demand generation and digital marketing, you will create awareness and generate pipeline for sales to achieve results. Success in this role means you will leverage your communication skills, executive presence to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across functions.

Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy:
- Defines product vision and strategy by leveraging customer experience insights, competitive market analysis, and solution area priorities.
- Identifies short- and long-term investment opportunities, evaluates tradeoffs, and influences the product roadmap to achieve business outcomes.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Messaging:
- Recommends and aligns priorities for go-to-market and marketing efforts across the offerings portfolio and solution area, enabling change management to drive execution.
- Develops differentiated value propositions, key customer reasons to buy, retain, and grow, and drives messaging and positioning frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders.
Market & Customer Insights:
- Collaborates with partners to gather insights from market research, user research, competitive analysis, and industry trends to inform product and GTM strategy.
- Remains current on market trends and evolving influence approaches to support knowledge transfer and strategy refinement.
Campaign & Channel Execution:
- Sets strategy and plans for marketing campaigns, programs, promotions, and digital channel execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Owns measurement, optimization, and reporting of marketing and customer engagement metrics across channels and platforms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence:
- Builds partnerships across Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Design, Services, and Partner teams to deliver customer value and business growth.
- Leads initiatives across teams, shares best practices, and drives impact through influence rather than authority.
Performance Measurement & Insights:
- Defines, analyzes, and applies KPIs to measure business success, identify trends, and present insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Program & Delivery Management:
- Develops and executes project plans for initiatives of medium complexity, or supports senior colleagues on complex programs, including scope, resources, and communications.
Evangelism & Storytelling:
- Evangelizes product capabilities with internal and external audiences through presentations, demos, events, blogs, and executive briefings.
- Acts as a primary interface with Product Marketing to support product education and content development.
Customer Lifecycle & Adoption:
- Defines and directs strategies for customer acquisition, adoption, advocacy, renewal, and end-to-end customer journeys, including user stories and scenarios.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
