Overview We are seeking a Senior Product Manager equipped with the skills to navigate the intersection of AI and presentation design. We’re building an agent that is your Copilot in crafting your next presentation or updating slides in preparation for a monthly review. A strong background in crafting visual content is critical to a successful PM in this role. As a product manager working on AI at Microsoft, the expectation is that you’re able to quickly define success, iterate, and rapidly develop insights from customer feedback and behavior. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, applied science, and design to conceptualize, spec, and build a truly capable agent that’s helpful at every step of your PowerPoint journey. - Responsibilities- Define and execute the strategy and feature iteration roadmap for core tools and capabilities of the PowerPoint Agent.
- Identify user pain points and opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing customer feedback, and engaging with users.
- Partner with engineering, design, applied science, and marketing teams to build, test, and refine innovative AI-driven features.
- Translate complex AI concepts and capabilities into intuitive, user-friendly experiences that empower PowerPoint users.
- Monitor product performance, set success metrics, and iterate rapidly based on user data and business goals.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and ethical guidelines for AI in productivity tools.
- Advocate for the user and promote a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years collaborating across cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders to deliver customer-driven decisions.
- 5+ years of data driven product development and decision making with experience defining success and metrics throughout the feature development lifecycle.
- 5+ years of developing features based on interaction design principles and user research, translating insights into effective, practical design solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully launching AI or machine learning features or products, with specialized expertise in large language models or conversational agents. Strong understanding of AI technologies, including natural language processing, generative AI, and computer vision.
- Expertise in communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint or similar presentation software.
- Exceptional eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling; able to turn complex information into beautiful, engaging slides and documents.
- A thorough understanding of usability testing techniques, which drive an iterative design process, will significantly enhance the user's experience.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
