Overview
Join Security Finance to play an integral role in shaping the future of the Security business. The Security portfolio is at a pivotal moment as organizations adopt artificial intelligence, accelerate digital transformation, and address increasingly complex threat environments. This team partners across sales, marketing, and engineering to develop go-to-market (GTM) solutions aligned to these opportunities. You will serve as a trusted partner and drive impact across key business functions, including GTM strategy, sales execution, and planning.
Land and Expand is Microsoft’s data-driven operational framework and field tool that enables AI Business Solutions (ABS) seller account targeting and management through a customer classification system. The framework incorporates revenue and usage insights, propensity signals, and targeted upsell and cross-sell motions across Modern Work, Security, and Azure. The Field Engagement Lead provides both strategic direction and hands-on support for Land and Expand. In addition, this role partners closely with MCAPS Finance to deliver sales execution insights, manage metric frameworks, and support Security pipeline analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Drive continued evolution and provide tactical support for the Land and Expand dashboard as a tool to synthesize sales strategy, highlight GTM focus areas, and deliver actionable data for field execution.
- Partner with MCAPS finance to deliver field execution reporting and insights.
- Develop insights and leverage a perspective informed by the customer journey, market maturity, and other key data sets to enrich the Security Team’s analysis and business conversations.
- Manage and lead evaluation of Penetration, Saturation, and Whitespace modeling to support field planning and account targeting.
- Learn from seller feedback and field summaries, elevating sales challenges and validating them through data.
Qualifications:
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field ORBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience. - 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
- 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
