Overview:
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of Share Point Admin Center, empowering frontier organizations to govern, secure, and optimize their content at scale.
You will work at the intersection of enterprise administration, advanced management, and user experience, designing solutions that enable IT professionals and admins to manage complex environments with clarity, confidence and supporting safe AI adoption and robust governance in frontier organizations.
We are looking for a designer with a keen sense of craftsmanship, exposure in data driven design for scale and ability to leverage & contribute to design systems. A designer who is inclusive, can collaborate independently with key stakeholders and enrich the triad (PM, Dev, Design) partnership.

- Responsibilities- Drive the end-to-end design process for key product features in Share Point Admin Center and Advanced Management features, guiding projects from initial concept through to final delivery, and ensuring solutions are user-focused, accessible, and meet business and compliance standards.
- Work proactively through the ambiguity of new product definition, the application of new and emerging technologies and ensure the resulting experiences are human, beautifully crafted, and delightful to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, Engineering, Research, Content Design) to define strategy, inspire product vision and ship high quality experiences for advanced admin scenarios and deliver elegant and engaging end-to-end user experiences across multiple screens and input modalities, in an agile environment.
- Champion the use of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across Share Point and Microsoft 365 admin experiences.
- Mentor and guide other designers, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and high craftsmanship within the team. Your design work is clean, focused, and inspiring to others.
- Communicate design rationale and vision to senior leaders and stakeholders, using storytelling and prototypes to drive alignment and inspire action.
- Stay current with trends in enterprise administration, security, compliance, and AI, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and elevate the admin experience.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
- 8+ years of professional experience in product, interaction, or UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex, enterprise-scale solutions.
- Expertise in designing for enterprise admin, security, or compliance scenarios—ideally with experience in Share Point, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe CC), with experience working within and contributing to structured design systems.
- Solid command of interaction and visual design, systems thinking and advanced prototyping skills with the ability to translate research insights into intuitive product experiences.
- A proven track record of creatively solving hard problems, driving complex design issues across multidisciplinary groups such as engineering, product management, research, and marketing; and shipping relevant experiences within deadlines.
- Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- User-centric mindset, with a track record of leveraging customer data and research to inform design decisions and measure impact.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making in the context of enterprise administration.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
