Overview

We are looking to hire a Mainframe Developer to join the Host Integration Server team. Our technologies allow our customers to connect their Windows servers to IBM’s z/OS. We are offering the right candidate an opportunity to support the product team on the mainframe by innovating and creating technologies on the mainframe that can be used to develop and test our technologies with both Host Integration Server and our connectors in Logic Apps.

• Responsibilities- Support the product team with COBOL and PL/I creation and maintenance.
• Support the product team with CICS program creation and maintenance.
• Support the product team with VSAM, PS, VSAM and fixed/variable record format files creation and maintenance.
• Work with the product team to understand business requirements and provide feedback and suggestions for product development and testing.
• Basic maintenance of CICS regions.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in mainframe development using COBOL, PLI or COR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in technical experience in mainframe development using COBOL, PLI or C OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field AND 5+ years technical experience in technical experience in mainframe development using COBOL, PLI or C OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) technical experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
• Experience using JCL, JCL Utilities and TSO.
• Command Level knowledge of z/OS, JES, VTAM and CICS
• Experience working with DB2 programming, including basic maintenance.
• Experience working with IMS and/or IMS DB, including basic maintenance.
• Experience working with MQ

Service Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
