Join the Release Infrastructure team as a Software Engineer 2 and help build the backbone that enables thousands of Teams developers to ship features to millions of users worldwide. You’ll contribute to cross-organizational programs enabling thousands of Teams developers to ship to millions with confidence. You will drive implementation of client release and feature flighting across multiple platforms, devices, and operating systems.

- Responsibilities- Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.
- Contributes to the identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product area with little oversight.
- Design, develop and maintain engineering infrastructure, tools and services that powers the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and feature flighting for Microsoft Teams across different clients/platforms
- Champion best practices, tools and processes for a data-driven, quality-focused release of Microsoft Teams as frequently as possible to our customers
- Build tools/bots to improve developer productivity, contribute ideas to continuously improve our systems and drive actionable feedback on code and product quality
- Contributes to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provides estimation.
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.
- Remains current in skills by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent experience.
- Excellent problem-solving & debugging skills Good track record of working with partner teams and a mindset to get things done the right way.
- Solid in self-direction, critical thinking, communication skills and customer empathy.
- Proven ability to thrive in multi-national, culturally diverse environments.
- Experience with LLMs/SLMs, Azure PaaS & Services is a plus.
