We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Digital Solution Engineer focusing on Azure Application Innovation to join the Azure Sales Team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for technical customer engagements, working with the most challenging and exciting projects within Microsoft Azure customer base. This customer-facing position is a hands-on technical role spanning across design, build, and operations with a focus on issue resolution to remove customer technical obstacles and adoption challenges. You will work with enterprise customers to lead deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, platform engineers and Developers. You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams to develop pilots and oversee implementation projects, ensuring technical blockers are removed on adoption.
Responsibilities Customer Centricity:
- Understand customers’ overall Business and IT priorities and success measures to build cloud applications including DevOps processes, AI and Low code opportunities.
- Acts as the voice of the customer by driving new feedback into engineering, insights on usage and application patterns.
- Help accelerate solution delivery through Architectural Reviews, Proof of Concepts/MVP applications and setting up environments.
- Support customer skilling by making skilling recommendations or delivering technical discussions, workshops and other cloud readiness activities.
- Ensure that solution exhibits performance, security, scalability, maintainability and reliability upon deployment.

- Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results & help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments.
- Resolution of Customer Blockers
- Identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging subject matter expertise and use internal microsoft processes for escalations to support and engineering.
- Drives customer/partner relationships to anticipate, identify, escalate, and work to resolve technical blockers to accelerate consumption and solution implementations.
- Proactively uses knowledge of the products, services, and value propositions of Microsoft and its competitors in customer/partner conversations to identify growth opportunities based on knowledge of customer/partner needs.
Technical Leadership
- Learns new technologies or services that are aligned to customer needs and common patterns seen in Cloud application development. Stay current with the latest Migration/DevOps capabilities and practices, cloud application patterns and be a practitioner of one or more cloud technologies preferably Azure
- Shares ideas, insights, and strategic technical input with technical teams and internal communities. Participates in external technical community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons).
- Generates new ideas for changes and improvements to existing intellectual property (IP), technologies, and processes for designated customers/partners. Drives opportunities for IP reuse, best practice sharing, and consumption acceleration.
- Assess the Customers' knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners.
- Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community while educate customers on Azure platform
Qualifications Professional Experience. 7+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications required
- Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.Required
- Good business acumen to quickly understand the customer’s industry and business to have relevant discussions with business decision makers.
- **Problem Solving.**Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies Required
- **Collaboration and Communication.**Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Database administrators and Data Scientist) Required
Technical
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, Application migrations, and technology management required
- The technical aptitude and experience to learn new technologies and understand relevant cloud trend
- Competitive Landscape: Knowledge of cloud development platforms
- Partners: Understanding partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs preferred
Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following Application Platform of Dev framework required.
- Deep technical (Level 200-400) or architectural knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas:
- Systemadministration and Networking performance tuning and optimization, troubleshooting, high availability / disaster recovery, security.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 6+ years experience in cloud Application technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications). CKAD preferred.
Experience with the following technologies:
- Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company such as Amazon, VMware, Google, IBM, Oracle desired
- Prior solution development and Architecting Enterprise Applications
