Microsoft's MSC Security Fundamentals team is responsible for securing some of Microsoft's largest and most influential online services in the Azure Edge & Platform (AEP) organization and Windows Devices organization (W+D). The EPSF Services Pentest (SERPENT) and Infrastruture Security team needs a Security Assurance PM lead to help drive strategy, own OKRs and drive efforts to improve our overall security posture.
Responsibilities:
SERPENT and Infra Security PM Lead is responsible for driving end-to-end security assessment engagements across the service development lifecycle Design, Develop, DevOps, and Deploy. This includes pre-scoping, kickoff coordination, backlog triage, and post-assessment reporting. The role involves partnering with engineering, managing customer outreach, aligning with EPSF strategy, and ensuring timely remediation of findings. The PM Lead also contributes to strategic planning, KR definition, and cross-team collaboration to scale security impact across Microsoft services
Key Responsibilities -:

Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a clear vision aligned with the org’s overall goals and objectives. Define and communicate the roadmap to stakeholders

Identify and mitigate risk in critical Microsoft Infrastructure in close partnership with Security engineers and Developers including design reviews, code review

Be the security contact for teams building new innovative products and technologies in the next version of Windows, Azure, and devices
-
Leverage a broad and current understanding of security to envision new protections

Collaborate with product/service teams to improve security, and articulate the business value of security investments

Partner with teams inside and outside EPSF toward building security and compliance early in the product development process and in developing born secure, born compliant products

Define objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and track progress against goals, iterating and optimizing as necessary

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate updates, progress, and strategies to internal and external stakeholders. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks

Qualifications- - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus

8+ years of proven experience as a PM in Security space or in a related role

Have done a few Security certifications

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a team
